Terms of Use

The plain-language rules for using BatchScroll and BatchScroll Pro. By installing or using the extension, you agree to these terms.

Effective date:

1. What BatchScroll is

BatchScroll is a Chrome extension that captures full-page screenshots of web pages from a list of URLs and exports them as image files, a PDF or reports. It runs locally in your browser. The free plan is available at no cost; BatchScroll Pro unlocks higher limits and additional features, either as a monthly membership (Pro Monthly) or for a one-time payment (Pro Lifetime), as described in the pricing section.

2. Your license to use BatchScroll

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use BatchScroll for personal or commercial purposes, including work you do for clients.

You may not resell, sublicense or redistribute the extension, remove its notices, or bypass its plan limits or license checks.

3. BatchScroll Pro licenses

Pro is sold through Gumroad in two ways:

  • Pro Lifetime is a one-time purchase. It is not a subscription and never renews.
  • Pro Monthly is a membership billed every month. See Pro Monthly membership below.

For every Pro license:

  • Each license key includes 5 activations. Each new browser, Chrome profile or reinstall uses one. Removing the key from a browser (“Remove from this browser”) does not free its activation. If you use them up on your own browsers, we reset activations on request at no cost. Please don't share your key publicly or with other people.
  • Updates to BatchScroll are included at no extra cost.
  • BatchScroll periodically verifies your key with Gumroad. A key that is refunded, charged back or disputed is deactivated and the extension returns to the free plan.
  • Prices are shown in US dollars. Gumroad may add sales tax or VAT where required. We may change prices for future purchases (for example when the Pro Lifetime launch price ends). A price change never applies to a Pro Lifetime license you already bought.

Pro Monthly membership

  • Pro Monthly renews automatically every month and Gumroad charges your payment method at the start of each period, until you cancel.
  • You can cancel at any time in your Gumroad library (or through the link in your Gumroad receipt emails). Cancelling stops future charges.
  • After you cancel, Pro stays active until the end of the period you already paid for. When that period ends, the license key stops working for Pro and the extension returns to the free plan. You can subscribe again at any time.
  • If a renewal payment fails and isn't resolved in Gumroad, Pro can stop before the end of the period, and the extension returns to the free plan until the membership is active again.
  • If we change the monthly price, the new price applies to an existing membership only after we've told you by email, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
  • Payments for past months are not refunded, except as described in the refund policy.

4. Refunds

You can request a full refund of a Pro Lifetime purchase within 14 days of purchase, and of your first Pro Monthly payment within 14 days of that payment. See the refund policy for details.

5. Acceptable use

You are responsible for the pages you capture and for how you use the screenshots. In particular, you agree to:

  • respect the terms of service, copyright and other rights of the websites you capture;
  • only capture pages you are allowed to access, and handle any personal data visible in screenshots in line with applicable law;
  • not use BatchScroll to overload, attack or disrupt websites or other services.

6. Your data

Your URL lists, screenshots and exports belong to you and stay on your device. How BatchScroll handles data is described in the privacy policy.

7. Changes and availability

We may update BatchScroll, including adding, changing or removing features, to keep it working with Chrome and the web. Websites and browsers change, so we can't guarantee that every page will capture perfectly. If a change significantly reduces what Pro includes, we will tell you in the changelog.

8. No warranty

BatchScroll is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits or business arising from your use of BatchScroll. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for BatchScroll Pro in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer-protection laws that cannot be waived.

10. Termination

You can stop using BatchScroll at any time by uninstalling it. Uninstalling doesn't cancel a Pro Monthly membership; cancel it in your Gumroad library. We may deactivate a license key that was refunded, charged back, disputed or used in breach of these terms.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use BatchScroll after a change means you accept the updated terms.
